description at meridian healthcare, our mission is to provide integrated, whole-person healthcare that supports individuals and families in achieving their highest level of wellness. we specialize in primary care, behavioral health, addiction treatment, and recovery services—because we believe every person deserves compassionate, comprehensive care that meets their unique needs. we put people first, believe in the power of teamwork, and utilize our resources responsibly to fuel long-term growth and success. if these values resonate with you and you are driven to make a meaningful impact every day, meridian healthcare is the ideal place to take the next step in your rewarding career. our agency is looking for a compassionate and detail-oriented custodians to work at our location on meridian rd. we currently have a part-time position available; applicants should be available between the hours of 6am-4pm. as a full-time meridian healthcare employee, you will have access to a competitive and comprehensive benefits package, including: medical, dental, and vision insurance retirement plan with employer match generous paid time off (pto) and paid holidays employee assistance program (eap) for mental health professional development and continuing education opportunities eligibility for federal loan forgiveness programs including star (on qualifying clinical roles) additional employee-focused resources that support work–life balance and long-term career growth responsibilities : cleans all dust collecting surfaces and glass surfaces (i.e., doors, mirrors, handrails, countertops, windowsills, wall fixtures, furniture, light switches, windows, reception windows, vents, etc.) with disinfectants daily. cleans water fountains with disinfectants daily. collects and places trash from public areas and offices in trash bin daily. cleans restrooms with disinfectants daily. vacuums carpets as needed. cleans vinyl/ceramic floors with wet mop as needed. cleans cupboards, countertops and sinks with disinfectants daily. cleans microwaves and refrigerator with mild dish soap and water daily. tests and replaces burnt out light bulbs in light fixtures daily. performs outside maintenance, including cleaning sidewalks/entranceways, weeding, and picking up garbage. maintains and completes preventive maintenance on furnaces, plumbing, air conditioning, water heater, fire exits and alarms, and electrical system. requirements high school diploma or equivalent preferred. must be able to lift and move fifty (50) pounds. valid driver's license with good driving record preferred. custodial experience preferred.
