What We Offer As a Certified Sterile Processing Technician at Novant Health’s Mint Hill Medical Center, you’ll be trusted to deliver remarkable service while supporting patient care.  Your skill, judgment and adaptability will help drive safe, compassionate care where it matters most.   This PRN role is ideal for experienced Certified Sterile Processing Technicians looking to work within a high-performing, collaborative team with exposure to a wide range of instruments.   *Need 1-2yrs or more sterile processing technician experience*     What makes this unit stand out : • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with a strong culture of accountability and support • Opportunities to broaden your clinical skills across a variety of procedures • Backed by Novant Health’s commitment to innovation, inclusion, and advancement What You'll Do -Cleaning, decontaminating, inspecting, assembling, sterilizing, storing, and distributing equipment -Ensures the sterile instruments and equipment are available -Ensures all equipment is properly maintained, and ready for immediate use in order to support patient care What We're Looking For • Education : High School Diploma or GED, required. • Experience : One year of experience in a hospital Sterile Reprocessing Department, preferred.  • Licensure/Certification:  Sterile Reprocessing Tech certification, required. CBSPD, CRCST or CSPDT, required.  • Additional Skills (required):  Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing. Demonstrates knowledge of instrumentation and sterile/aseptic technique. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions to assemble instrument sets and trays. Ability to learn and understand medical terminology. Maintains Sterile Processing Technician certification. Why Choose Novant Health?
