Responds to calls politely, professionally, and efficiently. Maintains a calm demeanor while handling stressful interactions, and troubleshoots problems and concerns. • Accesses a variety of resources for accurate, complete, and appropriate management of calls. • Assists callers and patients with needs such as selecting providers, scheduling appointments, and preparing patients for their first appointment. • Schedules new and established patient appointments and assists patients with patient portal access. • Communicates prescription refill requests and other messages to clinic staff. Develops an excellent working relationship with departments, clinic, and medical staff to facilitate patient communication and care. • Maintains a strong working knowledge of all computer systems and communication tools.
