Description The Mount Sinai Parenting Center’s mission is to transform the way pediatric healthcare is delivered by maximizing opportunities to promote strong parent-child relationships and early childhood development within everyday healthcare interactions. We create trainings, curricula, videos, and resources for providers to use in healthcare moments with the goal of providing parents with the tools they need to foster optimal social, emotional and cognitive development in their children 0-5  years old. Responsibilities External Partnerships & Relationship Management   • Cultivate, grow,  and manage a portfolio of strategic partnerships across healthcare systems, academic medical centers, foundations, and aligned nonprofits. Serve as a principal point of contact for external partners, representing the organization with professionalism, warmth, and strategic clarity. Identify and pursue new partnership opportunities   that   extend   the   organizations   reach   and   amplify   its   programmatic   impact.   Fundraising & Funder Stewardship   • Lead active fundraising efforts, including prospecting, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship   of   individual,   corporate,   and   foundation   donors.   Serve   as   liaison   to   the Mount Sinai development   office.   Programmatic Oversight   • Oversee the implementation and tracking of programmatic activities in close coordination   with   the   Executive   Director   and   Directors   of   Medical   Education   and   Clinical Programming. Ensure programmatic priorities are sustained by organizational funding, while maintaining fidelity to the organization's mission and quality standards. Work   with the Associate Director of Operations to monitor key performance indicators and support data-informed decision-making in program development and refinement.   Research Investment Strategy   • Contribute   to   the   development   of   a   strategy   for   the   organization's   research   investments, ensuring alignment with mission, and the evolving needs of the medical education field. Build relationships with academic and research partners to identify collaboration opportunities and invest in projects to support and strengthen the Center’s   offerings.   Organizational   Leadership   • Operate as a senior member of a small, collaborative team — contributing to organizational strategy,  participating in leadership discussions, and modeling a culture   of  excellence and mission alignment. Support the Executive Director in high-priority initiatives and represent the organization in external settings as   needed.   Qualifications • Bachelors Degree required, Masters preferred, or equivalent combination or relevant work experience and education. • 7 years related experience   Preferred Experience • Experience with large research projects, research management, study design and publications.  Existing relationships with medical education, pediatric health or broader healthcare nonprofit community. • Experience in nonprofit development, strategic partnerships or related field with demonstrated track record in fundraising success.   • Familiarity with medical education, healthcare, early childhood sectors--including an understanding of how the Center is position in the healthcare space. • Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills; genuinely energized by external engagement, public speaking, and building relationships at all levels. • Mission-driven and passionate about early childhood development. Compensation The Mount Sinai Health System (MSHS) provides salary ranges that comply with the New York City Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $115543.88 - $187951.66 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, education, and operational need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
