NC Credentials or equivalency plus 6 semester hours, required. • Experience:  1 year early childhood work experience with children up to 12 years of age , required. • Licensure/Certification: • NC Credentials or equivalency defined by regulatory compliance Division of Child Development Workforce Unit, required. • Adult and Pediatric CPR/First Aid within 2 months of hire, required. • ITS SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome) within 2 months of hire, required. • Additional Skills (required): • NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background Check, renewed every 5 years. • BSAC if working with school age children. • CDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school age children.· NC Division of Child Development Qualifying Letter/Criminal Background letter · NC Division of Child Development Workforce letter within 2 months of hire · NC Institute for Child Development Professional ECE Certification within 2 months of hire • CDL license (if hired for driving buses) and working with school age children. · · • · Maintain training hours requirements as outlined by the Division of Child Development • Additional Skills (preferred):  Playground Safety   Why Choose Novant Health?   At Novant Health, we believe remarkable care starts with compassion for our patients, our communities, and each other.
